Feed Ontario

Join Allstate Canada (“Allstate”) to help address the issue of rising food insecurity across Ontario that has intensified during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Between August 16-September 5, Allstate will match 100% of donations (up to a total maximum donation by Allstate of $5,000) to Feed Ontario’s FeedON program. Feed Ontario will use the funds to provide adults, children, and seniors with nutritious food throughout the year, including dairy, protein, and produce. Every $1 raised provides 3 meals to an Ontarian in need.

From securing fresh and healthy food sources, to driving change through policy research and innovative programming, Feed Ontario unites food banks, industry partners, and local communities in its work to end hunger and poverty.

The FeedON network provides adults, children, and seniors with nutritious food throughout the year, including: dairy, protein, and produce. Through the support of its partners, FEEDON distributes millions of meals annually.

By the numbers:

• 537,000 seniors, adults, and children visit a food bank in Ontario throughout the year
• 1 in 3 visitors is a child
• 29 million pounds of food distributed in the last year
• Every $1 donated can help provide 3 meals

Allstate Canada provides donations and grants to non-profit, registered charitable organizations in Canada. Organizations and initiatives supported are those that focus on fostering an environment of inclusion, involvement and empowerment for people who experience barriers to participation – whether it be within their community, career, or personal life.
